The upcoming 2010 Commonwealth games is one of the biggest occasion, going to be take place between 3rd October to 14th October. The capital of India New Delhi holds pride in hosting the commonwealth games2010. In the past history, this is the second time that such type of big event will be planned in Asia.
During the Common Wealth Games, total 17 sports will be organize in the stadium including - Athletics, Aquatics, Boxing Badminton, Bowls, Cycling, EAD events, Gymnastics, Hockey, Netball, Rugby sevens, Shooting Squash, Table Tennis and Weightlifting.
Venues for 2010 games in New Delhi are :
Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium - Lawn, Athletics, Bowls and weightlifting
Dhyan Chand National Stadium - Hockey
Indira Gandhi Arena - Archery, Wrestling Gymnastics and Cycling
Delhi University Sports Complex - Rugby 7s
Tyagaraj Sports Complex - Netball Siri Fort Complex- Badminton, Squash
