Commonwealth Games Participating Nations

Commonwealth of Nations is an association of 53 countries across the world. They were previous British colonies. To develop the humanity and general well-being of the people is a key objective of the Commonwealth of Nations. This can be achieved through support and assistance of education via sports development and physical recreation.
 
To accomplish this there is a Commonwealth Games Federation that organizes a 4 year sporting action among the associate nations of the Commonwealth popularly known as Commonwealth Games.

Approximately all Commonwealth countries participate in these super multi-sports events with full passion.

2010 CWG Participating Nations


There are at present 85 nations planning to sending teams at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. This figure is the maximum considering the past Commonwealth Games. All participating countries in Commonwealth Games will be competing against each other under the sports categories including- aquatics, athletics, archery, boxing, badminton, cycling, gymnastics, hockey, lawn bowls, netball, rugby sevens, squash, shooting, tennis, table tennis, wrestling and weightlifting.
