The Cricket World Cup is the most imperative cup in the ODI. Nine wc matches have been played till now. The complete world cup final history is below :
 
The FIRST world cup match was played in 1975, which hosted by England. West Indies won the first world cup title by defeating Australia by 17 runs.

The SECOND world cup match was played in 1979. Which hosted by England. This time again West Indies won the world cup title by defeating England by 92 runs.

The THIRD world cup match was held in 1983, hosted by England third time. India won this world cup title by defeating West Indies by 43 runs.

The FOURTH world cup was played in 1987, which hosted by India and Pakistan. This world cup title was won by Australia by defeating England by 7 runs. It was the closest margin in world cup history.

The FIFTH world cup matches were take place in New Zealand and Australia in 1992. Pakistan won this world cup title by defeating England by 22 runs.

The SIXTH world cup was played in 1996, which hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka won this world cup title by defeating Australia by seven wickets.

The SEVENTH wc was played in 1999, which hosted by England, Scotland, Ireland and Netherlands. Australia again defeated Pakistan and reached the goal in 20 overs.

The EIGHTH was hosted by Zimbabwe, South Africa and Kenya in 2003. Australia won this world cup title by defeating India by 125 runs.

The last NINETH world cup was played in 2007, which was hosted by West Indies. And Australia fourth time won the title, defeated sri Lanka by 53 runs.

The TENTH ICC cricket wc is take place in 2012. This world cup will be played between the months of February and March 2012. The opening match will be played on 19th February 2012, and total fourteen countries are going to take part this cricket world cup.
