Mascot for the Cricket World Cup 2011 is an elephant. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has been launched an online competition for the name of the mascot elephant. At an event in Colombo, Sri Lanka, the mascot's name was unveiled. The mascot for the much awaited 2011 Cricket World Cup is an elephant that will be called 'Stumpy'.

The World Cup organizers have announced that cricket fans around the world able to take part in a contest to name the mascot.
