Asian Games Schedule

Asian Games, 2010 will be played from November 12 to November 27, 2010 in Guangzhou, China. Shanwei, Dongguan and Foshan are co-host cities. In 1990, Beijing had hosted the Games and now after that Guangzhou is the second city in China to host the Games. 2010 Asian Games consists total 476 events in 42 sports that will be contested by athletes.
 
Which will make it the largest event in history of the Games. Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has make compulsory new hosting rules for future games, which will start with the 2014 Games. So that Guangzhou will be the last one to have presented such big events. Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games ticket timeline was divided in three phases.

Its first phase was closed in the month of March. For the Opening and Closing rituals of the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games and Asian Para Games, the tickets booking had closed its 2nd phase at 5pm Beijing Time on August 15. But the third phase will be started from October 2010 to end of Asian games. Ticket prices are not fixed and vary for the different events and matches. Most tickets range is from about 10 RMB or 1.50 USD to 400 RMB or 58 USD. The Opening Ceremony tickets are extremely costly: - Ranging from 1,600 RMB or 230 USD to 6,800 RMB or a cool grand in USD.

2010 Asian Games are scheduled to start from November 12th to November 27th 2010 in Guangzhou, China. The games will be co-hosted by Foshan, Dongguan, and Shanwei. 476 events in 42 sports will be contested by athletes, and 53 competition venues and 17 training venues will be used for the Games.The Guangzhou Asian Games will feature 42 sports, including 28 Olympic sports and 14 non-Olympic sports. The sports of the Guangzhou Asian Games are related to 45 International and Asian Federations, 43 of which have appointed technical delegates for the Games. So far, 38 technical delegates have visited GAGOC and signed memorandums regarding issues such as the competition, venue construction and information technology.
