Commonwealth Games Theme Song

The Commonwealth Games 2010 have been in a lot in the news and not only in the sports section. Barring all the criticisms and political games, here is something new that adds to the true spirit of the game. A.R Rehman has finally revealed his composition for the CWG 2010. The Commonwealth theme song's named- 'Jiyo, Utho, Badho, Jeeto...' The Commonwealth Games theme song was heard for the first time at Gurgaon's Kingdom of Dreams.
 
Oscar winner, the great composer A.R Rehman's masterpiece for the Commonwealth Games 2010, calls upon one and all to take part in the true spirit of the game. It will be an additional 10 days before the Commonwealth Games theme song is officially launched but Oscar-winning composer A R Rahman today promised it would be worth the wait as his 'Yaaro India bula liya' would be unlike anything that has happened before.

The Group of Minister on the Commonwealth Games accepted the song at a meeting on Sunday. Rahman said the song would go outside Shakira's chart-buster for this year's soccer World Cup 'Waka Waka'. Rahman said the launch of the song will have to wait for some more time because he is still giving some final touches.

CWG Games 2010 Delhi Theme Song


The theme song for Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010 "Oh yaaro, yeh India bula liya" is today launched 5pm at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon, which is composed and sung by Oscar winning music maestro A.R. Rahman. The song titled 'Swagatham' has lyrics 'Yaaro, India bula liya' is all about energy, winning and don't give up. A. R. Rahman launched Commonwealth Games 2010 theme song.

The Group of Minister (GoM) on the Games had approved the song at a meeting on Sunday after it heard the rendition of the song.
